What VPS 1 is for.

Start here if you run one main service or want a server to learn on. VPS 1 has the least RAM per vCPU of the six plans, so it fits light services better than memory-hungry ones. You can move up to a larger plan later. You can't move down, so starting small is the safer choice if you are unsure.

Example workloads

  • A small web app or API with a PostgreSQL database on the same server
  • A WireGuard VPN for your own devices
  • A staging copy of a site that runs somewhere else
