This page says what 10gpsvps.com collects and which outside services your browser connects to when you use it.

What checkout collects

Checkout asks for your email address. We use it to email you about your order and your server. To pay, you need an account, described below.

Checkout also holds the order you set up: the plan, location, term, operating system, any disk upgrade, the hostname, and the payment method and coin you chose.

Accounts

You need an account to pay for an order, because every payment goes through your account balance. When you create one, we first email a code to the address you gave, and make the account only once you enter it. We then save your name, postal address, email address, a hash of your password (not the password itself) and the time you signed up, in a database on our server.

We also save your account balance, your invoices, and your support tickets with the messages in them. We use your email address to tell you about ticket replies.

Your orders are saved with your account and shown on your dashboard. If a server is linked to your account, the dashboard and control panel read its details from Leaseweb when you open them, such as its status, IP addresses and traffic. These details are kept for about a minute so pages load faster. Its root password is fetched only when you ask to see it, and we don't store it.

To limit repeated tries, we save your IP address and the time of each sign-up or password reset attempt and each failed sign-in, and the time of each code we email and each wrong code entered, with a hash of the address. A failed sign-in also saves a hash made from the email address you typed and your IP address. Records over a day old are deleted the next time a new one is saved.

No analytics or ad trackers

This site has no analytics tools, ad trackers or tracking pixels.

The contact form

The form on the support page collects your email address, a topic and your message. We save these with the time to a log file on our server, and we send them by email to the inbox for the topic you picked. The session keeps your email address and topic so that the form can show them again.

Outside services your browser contacts

Some files on this site load from other companies' servers. Your browser connects to these servers directly, so they receive your IP address and the usual details of a web request. We do not send them your email address or your order.

Email you send us

Email to our addresses, and messages from the contact form, reach our staff through Cloudflare, which receives our mail and passes it to our server. We keep the sender's address, the subject and the time, and staff read and answer it through the messaging service described below.

Notices to our staff

When you sign up, sign in, change your password, pay, open or answer a ticket, or act on a server, our staff get a short notice with your email address and what you did, through a messaging service that keeps these notices on its servers. Passwords and wallet addresses are never in them.

Crypto payments

Crypto payments go through ChangeNOW, an exchange service. It gives the address you send to, exchanges what arrives into USDC and sends that to our wallet. We tell ChangeNOW only the coin, the amount and our own wallet address, never your email address or anything else about you. ChangeNOW sees the payment itself, and its own privacy policy applies to that.

Crypto payments are recorded on public blockchains. We cannot change or remove that record.

The optional server monitor

If you install the monitor on your server, it sends us CPU, memory and network counters once a minute, so we can show them on your server page. It sends nothing else. We keep these figures for two days, and turning the monitor off deletes them.

Where servers run

The servers you order run on Leaseweb's network, so what you store on a server is held there.
